"Knowing Christ in Depth, Making Him Known at All Costs"
Through a mission by American students, young K.L. Dickson gave his life to Christ. Though he sang in church choirs, this was his first personal encounter with Jesus.
Invited to pray for the sick at a hospital with only three scriptures, he witnessed every patient healed and the doctor—his former teacher—give his life to Christ. For 90 days, miracles unfolded daily.
"That was the beginning of my ministry. God assured me of His presence always."
What started as a spark of faith grew into a fire that has spread across nations.
Founded 1982 as the First Church
What began as a small fellowship of believers hungry for more of God became Kabarole Christian Fellowship Church (CFC). Through the preached Gospel accompanied by miracles, signs, and wonders, lives were radically transformed.
"The blind saw, the lame walked, and the oppressed were set free. The news spread like wildfire."
The Vision Expands
As revival swept through the region, many more Christian Fellowship Churches were established across Uganda. This led to the formation of World Evangelical Ministries (WEM)—a family of churches united to fulfill the Great Commission.
"One church cannot contain what God is doing. We are a movement."
From that initial outpouring of the Spirit, the Gospel spread to neighboring districts, then to different countries. What started as a young boy's "yes" to God has become a multi-national movement of churches, schools, media, and community transformation—all for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Together, they have been blessed with four biological children—three living with their families in the United States of America and one living in Uganda.
"A family united in faith, serving across nations, united by one mission: Making Christ known."
