Humble Beginnings
At the age of 16 years, Dr. KL Dickson gave his life to Christ through a mission by American students. He frequently went to church and sung in choir before in one of the churches in Kampala though had not given his life to Christ. After confessing Christ- He was challenged to experience the power in Jesus that people had talked about and hence changed church. Through fellowship at Namirembe Christian Fellowship Church, his zeal for Christ was heavily rejuvenated. He did not only hear about the Holy Spirit but he saw people receive him and he also experienced his touch. He saw great miracles and people being delivered including those whom he knew of their physical problems for long. It is then that he believed God existed.
Days after, he came to Fort Portal following up his car that had been wrecked by someone. He was invited to go to hospital to pray for the sick, with only 3 scriptures he knew well then he asked them to be saved and commanded them to be healed; they got saved and believed for healing. The Doctor then who also was also his teacher at school did not believe in Jesus until he himself witnessed all people admitted in the hospital healed and discharged. He gave his life to Christ including all hospital workers. Many people started thronging in looking for a young boy called Dickson to pray for them for healing and deliverance. For the next 90 days it was miracles, healing and salvation. “That was the beginning of my ministry”. God assured Him of His presence and victory always.
Present Day
God commissioned him to preach Christ leading them to salvation and praying for their healing. But as years unfolded, he realized that when people give their lives to Christ, God speaks to them directly as He spoke to him. Therefore:
❯Above getting people saved and healed, the ministry is also raising great leaders-men and women who can stand and be able to do the work of God through our leadership training program.
❯Mega conferences and crusades are held to help people understand the life given to us through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
❯Through the W.E.M network, 1600 churches have been started in East and Central Africa. These churches started directly Dr. K.L. Dickson and by the associates that ministered under the anointing of Dr.
