The Church in Bunyoro
The Greater Bunyoro Region spans the heart of the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom, one of Uganda's traditional kingdoms with a rich cultural heritage.
Our churches serve communities in Muhorro, Hoima (the regional capital), Masindi, and Kiryandongo. We are committed to establishing strong, indigenous churches that impact their communities with the love of Christ and practical care. The WEM Pastoral Visits encourage pastors, strengthen churches, and ensure sound teaching reaches every corner.
Districts We Serve
Our ministry reaches across the following districts in the Bunyoro region, bringing hope and transformation to communities.
Hoima District
Regional capital with the central fellowship, serving as the hub for ministry operations.
Kikuube District
Home to Muhorro CFC, host of the pastoral visit and a growing congregation.
Masindi District
Active youth ministry and growing fellowship in the district.
Kiryandongo District
Serving refugee communities with outreach and church planting initiatives.

Pr. Balisanyuka Vicent
Pastor Balisanyuka Vicent provides spiritual oversight, strategic direction, and pastoral care for all churches and fellowships across the Greater Bunyoro region. With a heart for church planting and community development, he leads the regional ministry with dedication, equipping local leaders and extending the gospel throughout the heart of the Bunyoro Kingdom.
